What is it?
The Deseret Units Bank is an online bank that allows registered members to receive, transfer, and save Deseret Units. There is also an internal marketplace that allows members to to post goods and services they are selling. Members can also post things they are interested in buying.
The Deseret Units Bank offers a variety of ways to use Deseret Units. Units can be deposited in your account so you can use Deseret Units internally. You can receive and make payments on your mobile device.
The DCA Online Bank does not deal with storing or transacting legal tender. Our operations are strictly within the realm of Deseret Units complimentary currency.

Sign up and start using Deseret Units today!
When you go to the system you will find a log in screen. If you already have an account enter(1) your Login name and Password then click "submit."
If you don't have an account click "Submit"(2) button in the register section.
To register fill out your information on the form(1) Set your password(2) and enter the Captcha text(3). Then Click Submit(4).
After you submit your information you will have to wait for your account to be approved by an Administrator. This will usually take about 24 hours.
You can log in after your account is approved. You will see your "Personal" panel. There are four sections to your account. First is the menu(1). Second is the Status window(2). Third is the Quick Access window(3). Fourth is the News window(4).
Each Menu item has a submenu.
The "Personal" tab will allow you to access your personal items. The submenus here give you access to do the following tasks:
- Edit your profile
- Send and receive messages
- Post Ads and review your existing Ads
- Add and review your contacts
- Review your references
- Give feedback for transactions
- Change your password
Edit Profile
To edit your profile click on the Profile(1) submenu. Here you can edit your information(2). You can also add a profile picture(3).
Review/Post Advertisements
To post and review your Ads click on the Advertisements(1) submenu. Here you will see your existing Advertisements(2). You can also post a new Ad by clicking "Submit"(3).
Edit Contacts
To add and review contacts click on the Contacts(1) submenu. Here you can review your existing contacts in your Contact List(2). You can also add new Contacts(3). Enter the Member Login or Member name and click "Submit."
View Accounts
The "Account" tab will open your account. The submenus here allow you to do the following tasks:
- Access your Account information
- Setup Scheduled payments
- Review your Invoices
- Pay other members
- Transact with the system to withdraw
Preferences
The "Preferences" tab will allow you to change your notification settings. You can also set your "Ad Interests" to search for specific types of ads.
Search Members and Marketplace
The "Search" tab will allow you to search the DCA marketplace. You can also search by Members or Products and Services.
There are two ways to search the marketplace(1). You can do a keyword search or browse. To search the do a keyword search, select Offers or Wants(2). Then enter the keywords of your search(3). To activate your search, click "Search"(4). To browse the Marketplace click on the various categories you are interested in(5).
Help
The "Help" tab gives access to the system help. If you are looking for more in depth information about the functions of the system click on the Manual submenu. You find contact information in the Contact submenu.
You can access your DCA account on your mobile device. You will first need to download the Cyclos app for your mobile device:

When you first access the app you will need to set it to the DCA server. Tap the gear icon to access the settings menu. In the Cyclos URL text box enter:
Then tap save.
Tapping the question mark icon will open up the app help section.
Log in
When you open the app you will need to enter the username and password of your DCA account. As shown in the image above after you enter your username the first time it is remembered.
Account
After you log in you will see your account. The first entry is your current account total. The other entries below are your account history.
Contacts
By tapping contacts you will see your list of contacts. You can also add new contacts by tapping the "Add new contact" button. Then enter the username of the contact you want to add.
Log Out
You can log out by tapping the icon showing a square with an arrow inside.
Making a payment is done in three easy steps:
- Searching for a contact.
- Entering payment information.
- Confirming the payment.
Search for Contact
To make a payment tap the "Payment" button. Then enter the user you want to make a payment to. You can either select a user from your contact list, or you can search for one using the text box. Then tap "Next."
Enter Payment Information
Enter the amount you want to transfer. Then enter a description. This should be something that briefly describes the transation. If you are buying a shirt enter something like, "Shirt Purchase." Or if you are paying for someone washing you car, "Car Wash." You get the idea.
Confirm the payment
Before your transation is completed you will see a screen with an overview of your transaction. Tap the "Confirm Payment" button to complete the transaction. After this you will see a confirmation screen which gives a detailed overview of the transaction.
When you go back to your account screen you will see that the transaction has been recorded in your history and your account balance will show your new total.
With current online store software it is very difficult to set up your store to accept Deseret Units. But we have a solution. With the Deseret Currency Association Marketplace you can sell your products and transact with Deseret Units.
Simply register a new account, but fill out the information for your business. For birthday, enter the date your business was started.
Then add your products to the marketplace. Your products will appear in the marketplace and when a user clicks on your store name they will see all your products.
